The record is back home - a tower of LEGO bricks reached 31,39 meters this friday. Visitors of LEGOLAND helped build the tower - some for a short break while visiting the park and others for hours putting bricks together to reach the record.
The tower was originally to be built at the event area, but it was not allowed as it would interfere with the air traffic at the near by airport. Instead it was built at the entrance.
The old record was 31,16 meters and was built in São Paulo, Brazil this april. You can see a list of the old record holders here - along with several other crazy LEGO records.
All that helped received a nice diploma.
